Kim + Nate | Mt. Hood Ski Bowl Snow Wedding

Sometimes your dreams don’t go quite as planned. When Kim + Nate scheduled their wedding for June they didn’t plan on having a Mt. Hood Ski Bowl snow wedding. They envisioned a bright and sunny summer wedding with Mt. Hood in the background. Something more in-line with Kendra + Kevin’s day or Lauren + Kyle’s. But, the weather had different ideas and they embraced the new vision for their day. Kim + Nate are adventurers through and through, they love the outdoors so Ski Bowl was a no brainer for their wedding day. Their guests bundled up in raincoats and rode the lift up to midway to celebrate. It felt like we were all on the edge of the world, swallowed in the clouds as they said their vows and then descended back to the base of the mountain. To say they partied the night away would sell the entire group short. The “you just had to be there” recap would be: Shot Skis, ripped pants, raffles, masks, live band, hula hoops, etc. As you can see below, it was a legendary night, even if it wasn’t the initial weather plan, it was experience that celebrated everything that Kim + Nate are.
