For the absolute best wedding experience, it is crucial to have a good relationship with your photographer. I am your third wheel on your wedding day, and will be present for all the special moments. That’s why I place an emphasis on having a great relationship with my couples. So they love having me around and feel free to be their truest selves.

My goal is for your photos to feel just like your wedding did. They should transport you back to the night. You should be able to smell the flowers and feel the dance floor. For me a good photo captures not just the image but the emotion of the day.

I photographed my first wedding over 18 years ago and have celebrated with couples all over the country. Likely, you don’t know anyone who has handled as many dresses or danced the cupid shuffle as much as I have. Weddings are an unpredictable celebrations that have moments of jubilation and ones of complex emotion. My approach is to join your family for the day, photograph the day from the inside out, and capture the magic when it arrives in anticipated or unexpected ways.

Why the Oregon Coast feels like an easy choice. It’s one of the few places where nature still gets the final say. The fog rolls in when it wants. The wind changes directions. The tide ignores your timeline. And somehow, all of that makes weddings feel a little more grounded, a little more memorable.
Maybe that’s why the Oregon Coast and weddings fit together so well. Neither one is completely predictable. You can make plans, watch the forecast, build the perfect timeline, and still find yourself adjusting along the way. The couples who choose to get married here usually understand that. They aren’t chasing perfect conditions. They’re choosing an experience they’ll remember long after the weather is forgotten.
I’ve spent enough time photographing along the Oregon Coast to know that no two weddings ever feel the same. Cannon Beach at sunset has a different rhythm than Cape Kiwanda on a windy afternoon. A quiet dinner overlooking the ocean feels different than a packed dance floor tucked inside a lodge while the rain rolls in outside. That’s part of what keeps bringing me back.
Maybe it’s because the coast has a way of stripping away the unnecessary. You’re surrounded by a landscape that doesn’t care about perfect hair or perfect timing. It asks you to be present instead. And when people stop trying to control every moment, the photographs tend to feel more honest too.

Nate was probably the best decision I made on my wedding day! Not only was he fun to be around, he made my husband & I feel comfortable & relaxed. The photos turned out incredible, he captured our day beautifully!
Nate is incredible!! He’s responsive, professional, and takes stunning photos. We had a 120 person wedding, and over the course of the day, Nate beautifully and subtly captured all of the special moments — big and small. He made the process so smooth for us and pricing was very reasonable, especially considering he did not have a strict hourly schedule like some photographers do.

He truly went above and beyond to capture some of our happiest memories and his photos are absolutely STUNNING. I especially appreciated how he handled his pricing- no hidden fees over how many hours he was hired for, instead simply a base price and he was available for your wedding day from start to finish. It was such a relief to know he would be there all day, without worrying that we would “miss” something. I should also mentioned, he worked our wedding in 106 degree heat and still managed to make us all look put together and beautiful. He was very down to earth and made us feel so comfortable. Highly recommend.
We loved Nate as our wedding photographer! He is laid back, professional, dedicated to his craft, and focused on making his clients feel as relaxed as possible. On top of all of that, he was willing to be with us the entire day and into the evening, so he was able to capture all of our special moments with no compromises.
Nate was SUCH a pleasure to work with. He was so good to us. Took the extra time to scout out the most BEAUTIFUL places for us to elope in Oregon. We owe him the most magical day of our lives. Our pictures are beautiful and timeless, and truly reflect us as a couple.
Nate is such a GEM of a human! Not only is he chill but he is quite the talented photographer. We booked Nate for our Engagement photos as well as our Wedding and I’m so glad we did. He was up for an adventure with us on a snowy day on Mt. Hood in February for our engagement shoot. He even had snow tires put on his car specifically for this trip! Ryan and I are not models but that didn’t matter. Nate made us laugh and more importantly made us feel comfortable. Our pics were EPIC! Nate will be part of our family memories forever!
We loved having Nate as our photographer. He is flexible and made everything so easy and stress free. His experience was so helpful as we worked to set up our day-of schedule and coordinating when pictures would be. He also was great at keeping us on schedule. He works quickly and efficiently and we couldn’t have been happier with the pictures. He also was able to get pictures back to us so quickly.

My husband and I can’t say enough great things about Nate!! We got married in Oregon in March, so we knew that it was going to be nearly impossible to predict the weather in advance. Thankfully, Nate was perfectly comfortable with being flexible and adapting on the fly. The weather turned out to be gorgeous and we got incredible outdoor photos at a nearby Portland location that Nate suggested for us! Everyone involved in our wedding loved working with Nate — as one of our bridesmaids described it, “he brought the perfect energy”.
