Laura + Michael | Abbey Road Farms Wedding

There are times in life that you really want things to go as planned and a wedding is for sure one of those times. Laura + Michael had their dream Abbey Road Farms wedding turned upside down at the very last minute due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus outbreak. They learned days before their date that it would be unwise to have a large gathering of their friends to celebrate their love. But, instead of deciding to put off the day they had been dreaming of they decided to overcome the challenge and redesign their day to keep their guests safe. They did this by cutting the guest list waaay down to just 20 of their closest family, seating people in groups that had been quarantining together, eliminating catering and just having cake instead, and keeping the closer dancing to just the two of them.

Often when I talk to couples we discuss how “no matter what happens at the end of the day you will be married”. Laura and Michael are the ultimate examples of this, they were able to let go of their long-held dream and create a new dream in an instant. The result was such a special Abbey Road Farm’s Wedding that emphasized the intimacy of their family that they will treasure forever.
