Emily + Brandon| Mt Hood Engagement Session

Emily and Brandon’s Mt Hood engagement session at Timberline Lodge brought all the winter magic. Just after a massive snowstorm rolled through Mt. Hood, the mountain was blanketed in fresh powder—and it made for the dreamiest backdrop.

They brought their pup along for a few cozy photos, which added such a sweet, personal touch. The three of them braved the freezing temps, and honestly, you’d never know how cold it was by the smiles on their faces. The vibe was joyful, playful, and full of love.

We wandered around the ski slopes, catching golden-hour light as the sun dipped behind the peaks. The sky lit up with soft pinks and oranges, casting a surreal glow over the snow-covered landscape. It was the kind of sunset that makes you stop in your tracks.

Even the snowboarders passing by couldn’t help but cheer them on. The whole mountain felt like it was rooting for these two.

Timberline Lodge was the perfect spot for their shoot—iconic, dramatic, and totally Oregon. The towering evergreens, alpine setting, and historic lodge gave us a ton to work with, and Emily and Brandon brought all the warmth.

From snowy snuggles to windblown laughs, this session captured who they are: adventurous, connected, and ready for anything together. And while we were all freezing by the end, it was absolutely worth it.

If you’re thinking about a mountain engagement session, don’t let the cold scare you. Sometimes, the chill brings the most beautiful kind of magic. If you want to see more of Emily and Brandon check out their wedding here!
